Permanent Shutdown

I'd like to announce my permanent hiatus from the blogging scene. I've utilized the blog to leverage my knowledge and show my passion for the business, which has served me well, as I've learned from this experience a great deal and made a few contacts along the way. It is time now for me to concentrate on school and other important tasks that require my attention.

Also, during my blogging tenure I made a few posts and comments I'm not proud of, so I'm terribly sorry if I offended anyone, it was never my intent.

I would like to thank everybody who has ever visited the blog, made a comment and/or subscribed. Your time and visits are greatly appreciated. Wish you all the best.

Sincerely,

Yaser

Yaser,

You had a great run and did some excellent work. Hell, if you didn't offend anyone along the way I'd have to think that you (or anyone) were probably holding back too much.

Focus on the important stuff and enjoy the extra free time!

Thanks and good luck.

Cheers,

-Bill

Yaser,

1) Are you going to completely take this blog off-line?

2) Any chance of a return in the long-term future?

Best Wishes to you!

Yaser:

Your decided course of action illustrates how time consuming blogging can be--especially when you write to get it right, like your blog always did!

A trend I have noticed in the past year is that corporations or venture-capital backed aggregators are encroaching on a venue that was originally pioneered by individuals like yourself.

Those of us that still post--do so out of love for our craft and/or a platform to generate publicity.

Good luck & I look forward to working with you on our other 'venture.'

Best-

Thanks for your efforts here. They were appreciated. Good luck in all your future endeavors.

Typical. Uses the blog as resume padding. Now he has a job and he's out. Sneaky.

Yaser, good move. It's not possible to blog and work at most Brokers. I frequent disagreed with your calls, but the reasoning and thought was always respected. As a 20 yr vet of buyside trading, if you were a stock I'd be long. Good luck in future endeavors.

The only thing that ever offended me was that time you said you were happy that Dinosaurs went extinct.

That hurt.

Anyway, good luck with your future endeavors. Hope to see you back sometime.
